Sunday morning was just gorgeous. Finally, the sun seemed to be peeking out at us, my sweater was on the seat next to me instead of on me, and the water was calm as glass. The only thing missing was Allen. Here are the pictures I took of my morning. Yep, that’s my finger in the last one. I think it adds a certain charm. Obviously I did it on purpose, otherwise the picture would have been SO wonderful, it would have made people cry.

Jaxon wanted me to tell Allen he missed him. So, we were joking around and I said I would send Dad a picture. So, after much goofing around, (and practicing) Zane, Jaxon and myself settled for a sad look. He really had to try hard to make it but, he did it. Allen told me not to send anymore pictures like this. Doesn’t he look pitiful?
Bored? Nothing to do? Well, every week, I go through the dictionary and pick out one word starting with every letter of the alphabet for Zane for the week. I discovered this really cool website (armoredpenguin.com). They let you make your own crossword puzzles or word search puzzles or scrambled word puzzles. They are awesome. If you want to try it out, click on the link below for this week’s crossword puzzle. I realize Zane already has his list of words but, he IS a kid. If you find it too difficult to solve, let me know and I will send you the list of words or you can click on their solve the puzzle button and they will give you the answers. Zane fast discovered how to cheat when the words were different lengths so, all of the words are 6 letter words. OH, and by the way, you have the option of solving it online or printing it out and doing it at your leisure. Like I said, a great site. Have fun!

Well, Allen took off on the bus Sunday heading towards Washington. Besides me and the boys not being with him, I think he has been having fun on the bus, asking questions and stuff about the bus and about the drive back by himself in a Penske moving truck. He has been able to sit back and enjoy the scenery and talk to people, or sleep, or whatever. Being the overprotective wife that I am, I made sure to warn him not to wander too far in Los Angeles because of the vampires. (Everyone has seen Lost Boys, right?) He did say the food was WAY over-priced. Like, a burger at one of the stops was $6 and a bottle of water was $2. Luckily, we remembered the price of cigarettes are outrageous in Washington so, he bought a carton before he went. He tends to give a cigarette to anyone who asks for one (sucker) so, I do not know how long they will last. I did mention this trip could be the perfect opportunity to quit smoking. He laughed like I was joking. Anyway, here is a picture of Allen all ready to leave us and the boys at the bus station. (Yes, that is my rockin’ cool kid in the Flaming Lips t-shirt!)
